One of the aspects of being ostracized is emotional eating. The longing to be part of a community and yet having been uninvited results in a longing unfulfilled.

Jeremiah tells us “for I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, because they called you an outcast saying: this is Zion; no one seeks her (30:17).”

This is the promise of God to you this day. He will heal you of all your spiritual, emotional and physical wounds. If you allow him, but first you must forgive. Forgiveness takes time and requires a level of spiritual maturity on the part of the believer.

Know that God fights for you and that vengeance belongs to him. Allow God to fight your battles and do not take matters into your own hands. This requires an unbelievable amount of faith, patience and willingness to endure. But our love for him transcends even the most desperate of times. Gods blessings to you all…
